The Cost of Dental Implants

The cost of a single dental implant, crown, and abutment (the device which connects the crown to the implant) at our office typically runs about $3,000. Two implants supporting a converted denture starts at about $5,000. However, there are several factors that can affect dental implant cost such as pre-surgery procedures, the type of restoration selected, and the number of implants you need. To help patients budget for this treatment, our office in Aurora, CO, offers flexible financing options. Our team can explain the overall costs and help you choose a payment option that works best for you.

Dr. Hua Gao specializes in oral surgery and can help make your investment in dental implants something that provides lifelong benefits.

Factors such as number of implants and preparatory procedures can affect cost

Preparatory Procedures

The cost of your dental implant treatment may increase if you require supplementary procedures such as a root augmentation, bone graft, sinus lift, or platelet-rich plasma therapy (PRP). If you do not have sufficient bone tissue to support dental implants, you may require a bone graft. Similarly, if you do not have enough room in your upper jaws to accommodate implants, a sinus lift can help restore your candidacy. To expedite healing, our doctors can perform platelet-rich PRP therapy.

Type of Restoration

If you are replacing a single missing tooth, the cost of your entire treatment will be lower than if you are replacing a full arch with implant-supported dentures or a dental bridge. If you choose a dental crown, we are able to make a cost-effective, same-day restoration using our in-office CEREC® machine.

Number of Implants

Patients who require only one implant will have much lower treatment costs than patients who are receiving multiple implants. Typically, insurance cannot be applied to the cost of dental implants. However, we do not believe patients should have to compromise when it comes to restoring their oral health. Our financing options can help you budget for the cost of fully restoring your smile.

Our Financing Options

When you visit our office, we will inform you of all of your financing options so that you feel comfortable investing in dental implants. Our office works with CareCredit® to help you finance your treatment with low interest rates and a repayment schedule that works for you.

Investing in Your Oral Health

Paying for dental implants is an investment in your oral health for years to come. With proper care, frequent visits to our office, and healthy habits, your dental implant posts can last a lifetime and will likely not require replacement. In addition, choosing implant-supported restorations can have several oral health benefits and prevent your surrounding teeth from shifting, saving you from requiring costly treatment in the future.
